Waxing linen is a treatment that complies with the provisions regarding food fabrics and makes the linen waterproof and stain-proof: to clean the basket simply wipe with a damp sponge.
If the perimeter lace gets stained, the basket can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees and ironed inside out. The waxing treatment lasts up to 30 washes.
